Make Brooki Bakehouse’s virally popular cookies at home with this covetable cookbook

When we enjoy Brooki cookies at home, it's usually after lining up at the famed bakehouse's Fortitude Valley shopfront. Well, what if we told you that you could skip the queue and enjoy as many cookies as you like? On Tuesday October 29, Brooki Bakehouse will release Bake with Brooki – a compendium of recipes for Brooki's beloved cookies, brownies, cupcakes, traybakes, macarons, cheesecakes, layer cakes and more.

When Brooke Bellamy opened Brooki Bakehouse in 2022, little did she know the craze she was about to kick off in Brisbane. Fast forward a couple of years and Brooki Bakehouse’s Fortitude Valley abode might be the busiest shop in the city, with queues a permanent fixture along Marshall Street.

While originally slinging everything from moreish macarons and frosting-crowned cupcakes, Brooki Bakehouse’s number-one seller is its cookies – chunky rounds of deliciousness that Brooke not only sells in store, but ships Australia wide and to the US, New Zealand and Asia. Though Brooke already gives followers unprecedented access to her kitchen via her ‘day-in-the-life’ videos on social media, the dough doyenne will soon go one step further – sharing her lauded recipes with her very own cookbook, Bake with Brooki.

Released in late-October via Penguin Random House, Bake with Brooki will boast 100 recipes for sweets of all kinds – from macarons and celebration cakes to, yes, those queue-worthy cookies. In addition to the bakehouse’s signatures, the cookbook will also feature recipes of Brooke’s personal favourites, including cherry-topped red velvet cupcakes, a Biscoff cheesecake, a drool-worthy caramel slice and sensational sticky date puddings. If you’re a baking novice or often crumble in the kitchen, don’t fret – each recipe comes with easy step-by-step instructions and a few of Brooke’s own top tips for success.

Bake with Brooki is already a best-seller and it’s only available for pre-orders. If there’s one queue we suggest jumping, it’s the one at the bookstore. Head to the Penguin Random House website to secure yours now.
