Home and nature collide at West Village’s new luxury residence Arcadia North Gallery

For a house or apartment to really feel like a home, it needs to offer a feeling of comfort, security and tranquility. The design of any abode should have this mandate at its core, but Arcadia at West Village may be the first collection of residences that executes that ethos to near perfection. Inspired and shaped by the concept of nature and home seamlessly blending, these limited-release residences look to set a new standard in luxury living, where every home acts as a peaceful inner-city oasis.

The Japanese concept of ‘satoyama’ – where nature and home coexist – is one of the key principles behind the design of West Village’s new set of residences Arcadia North Gallery. This blurring of the threshold between indoor and outdoor has been further bolstered by Arcadia’s emphasis on subtropical design, with references to Queensland’s lush landscape helping build a sense of place throughout. Arcadia boasts a mixture of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom residences (with 53 in total), with the building’s overall aesthetic and each individual living environment enhanced by an environmentally conscious approach that blends elements of natural ecosystems. The experience begins at the podium level, where residents and guests can experience the potent tranquility of the Japanese floating garden (known as a chusizen), as well as an amphitheatre lawn, sanctuary garden and rock pool.

Like any luxury residence, Arcadia’s amenities are suitably top-notch. The building is host to a cinema room, private dining room with a catering kitchen, heated vitality pool, library and garden conservatory. Arcadia North Gallery’s homestyle residences emphasise a sense of space wherever possible, creating harmony between humanity and nature with generous floor plans and balconies boasting impressive mountain and city views, allowing residents a feeling of freedom. Premium features within these apartments include French-oak timber floors, ducted air-conditioning, a six-metre chef kitchen with Miele appliances, Japanese-style cabinetry and butler’s pantries.
