Craft parties and wreath workshops – Museum of Brisbane is delivering bulk Christmas cheer this festive season

Christmas is nearly here folks, which means it's time to dust off the decorations and start decking the halls. Museum of Brisbane is helping to deliver the Christmas cheer with three wonderful workshops that are sure to take your trees and wreaths from run-of-the-mill to Rockefeller.

Museum of Brisbane’s festive festivities will kick off with a wreath workshop led by master florist Geraldine Hore of Bouquet Boutique on Saturday November 25. Using dried and preserved botanicals, this hands-on 2.5-hour class will give participants the skills to create their very own one-of-a-kind wreath to take home. If you want the best wreath in town this holiday season, be sure to nab a spot by heading here.

On Tuesday December 5, Brisbane’s very own tinsel queen Rachel Burke will help you deck the halls with pops of colour and plenty of sparkles. As you sip your complimentary glass of bubbles to get the creative juices flowing, Rachel will guide you through creating a brightly coloured and super-fun Christmas tree topper. This crafty Christmas party is sure to bring the festive vibes, so secure your spot by heading here – before it’s too late! Museum of Brisbane’s silly season will finish with an ornament workshop from Bonnie Hislop. This two-hour event will see participants create unique baubles using text, clay and colour. Inspired by Bonnie’s iconic artistic style, this workshop is sure to take your tree-decorating game to the next level. Book a spot by heading here.
