The Powerhouse goes prehistoric with Dinosaur Time Machine

Dinosaurs. Whether we’re young or old we can all agree, they’re sick as hell. This school holidays, budding palaeontologists and their parental units can add some education to their entertainment (or some entertainment to their education) as the award-winning production Dinosaur Time Machine returns to the Brisbane Powerhouse from April 9–13.

Join two time-travelling scientists as they explore all things dinosaurs – from Australovenators to Zuniceratops – on this adventurous ride into the prehistoric world which combines science, circus, puppetry and plenty of imagination. Written by theatre creator Pablo Latona, Dinosaur Time Machine smashed a successful season at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and was awarded Best Children’s Show by the Adelaide Advertiser. The show has toured from Warrnambool to Canberra, Brisbane to Melbourne, and across regional Queensland bringing the delight of dinosaur trivia to all and sundry.

This unique and energetic theatre experience serves up both the facts and the fun as it brings fossils to life, incorporating up-to-date science and discoveries made about dinosaurs and their prehistoric world into a visual feast of high-spirited hijinks. It’s sure to be a hit amongst the whole family, from the dino-devotees to the casually dino-curious.

Catch the riotous run of Dinosaur Time Machine with two shows daily at the Brisbane Powerhouse from April 9–13. Secure your tickets here and keep an eye out for the family pass promotion which scores you four tickets for $80*.
