Noosa Eat & Drink returns for another delicious long weekend – here’s what’s on

For its 21st year, Noosa Eat & Drink is back and bringing even more festival flavour to the luxe location's beautiful beaches and bustling precincts. The 2024 program is finally here and suffice to say, we can expect another year of award-winning food, ever-flowing drinks and industry-leading chefs taking over this Sunny Coast hotspot. Here’s what to know …

Located just two hours north from Brisbane, Noosa is not only home to an inimitable brand of luxury holidaying – it’s also the epicentre of the region’s world-class culinary scene. Hallmarked by Hasting Street’s prestigious range of beachside bars and eateries, the destination is renowned for its coveted chefs, artisans, craft brewers, distillers and local wineries. Noosa Eat & Drink is set to showcase this acclaimed food and drink roster and even bring some of the country’s most beloved names in food to get in on the action.

Across four days, the festival is serving up more than 75 events – including a restaurant showcase, daily beach events and the return of its signature – The Long Lunch. Leading the line-up again this year is The Festival Village – a weekend-long hub of entertainment, food and drinks that will transform the shores of Noosa Woods. Here you’ll find a foodie metropolis with stalls from local and visiting wineries, distilleries and breweries, pop-up restaurants and the Producers Pavilion – where food and drink purveyors from around the Noosa region and Sunshine Coast can showcase their goods.

The Festival Village even features a main stage, where celebrity chefs will be cooking up a storm in daily demonstrations from 11:00 am and facing off for celebrity cooking competitions. Witness legends like the croquembouche king Adriano Zumbo, pastry-chef powerhouse Anna Polyviou and the ex-MasterChef Australia judges George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan reveal their kitchen secrets live. From 4:00 pm, the main stage will be trading its kitchen set for DJ sets, welcoming live performances to score your sundowners.

Each year, Noosa Eat & Drink also hosts a litany of ticketed events across the four days, taking place on the golden shores of Noosa’s Main Beach. Snag a ticket to the Sundowner Cocktail Party to kick off the weekend or catch the sunset at the pop-up beach garden, with grazing plates by the restaurant Locale. On Sunday, you’re invited to a beachside brunch by George Calombaris and Masterchef Australia alumni Sarah Todd.

The festival headliner The Long Lunch – a sprawling al fresco event that stretches end-to-end along Noosa Junction’s Arcadia Street – has sadly sold out already. However, the precinct’s restaurants will be hosting their own events across the weekend. With more than 20 tantalising sessions to pick from – including high tea at The Gibson, Lucio Marina’s Tuna Experience and Mariella Mexicantina’s Mezcal Masterclass – there’s plenty to whet your appetite.

Tickets for Noosa Eat & Drink are on sale now – and even come with a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival. Explore the range of restaurant events here
