Culinary event legend Secret Foodies is back for its second Brisbane offering since launching in Queensland earlier this year. Constantly pushing the boundaries of surprise dining, the Secret Foodies gang is pulling out all the stops for an Arabian Nights themed dinner and cooking class.
Guests will create, cook and feast with friends – pomegranate, saffron, rosewater, nuts, pulses and spices will take foodies to a sensory journey to the Middle East without leaving the continent. The location of the event will be sent to lucky ticket holders via SMS two hours before the event (hint: it’s centrally located, so no treks out to the middle of nowhere). Ticket prices include a drink and canape on arrival, an interactive cooking class, a shared meal, two glasses of wine or beer with the meal and dessert (of course). For those wondering what to wear, think something comfortable with a splash of Arabian chic.
The theme for the first Brisbane event was Cocktail Degustation and saw guests enjoy a four-course Asian-style banquet with matching Asian-style cocktails at a waterfront restaurant in the heart of Brisbane. Secret Foodies is designed for people of all ages who enjoy great food and love meeting new people. Patrons are encouraged to branch out and be social, and what better way to make new friends than over amazing food?
