Altina Drinks launches Sansgria, a booze-free take on Spain’s beloved fruity sip

Sure, Dry January has been and gone but we're still traversing through (and recovering from) the tail end of silly season. For those of us in need of a break from the booze, we've stumbled upon an alcohol-free sip that's well worth imbibing. Say hola to Sansgria, a ruby sparkling wine from the brilliant brains behind Altina Drinks.

A reputable player in the non-alcoholic realm, Altina Drinks creates plant-powered sips using botanicals from Mother Nature’s pantry – think flowers, fruit, seeds, bark, roots and stems, and herbs and spices. With plenty of booze-free cocktails and wines (both white and rosé) in their growing selection, the team behind Altina Drinks decided to develop a new non-alc wine as a response to the changing drinking culture in Australia. The result is Sansgria, a vibrant ruby sparkling wine inspired by the festive sangrias of Spain.

Reminiscent of traditional sangrias that are packed with plenty of fruit and sweet flavour, the Altina Sansgria is built from botanicals like native Australian riberry, sweet orange, cayenne pepper and green apple. Boasting a hint of spice and vanilla, the refreshing tipple is a naturally sweet sip formulated without any added sugar – oh, and it won’t leave you with a sore head, either. Altina Drinks are available at selected Dan Murphy stores, BWS and independent retailers as well as online and its Sansgria will be available in-store from Tuesday February 22. Adiós hangover!
