For every bottle of Le Rosé Bleu sold, a donation is made to non-profit charity Plastic Oceans International, effectively helping to prevent at least 100 plastic bottles from polluting our seas. Le Rosé Bleu founder Vincent Lelard was inspired to create the drop after watching the award-winning film A Plastic Ocean, which calls on us all to do more to rethink single-use plastic and help save our spectacular planet. He hopes the sales will not only help fund the charity’s great work, but also promote ongoing conversation and awareness around the problem.
Two varietals of Le Rosé Bleu are helping to support Plastic Ocean International’s Rethink. Refill. campaign, which makes reducing your plastic usage easier by providing water refill stations and reusable bottles to the public, as well as organising beach clean-up initiatives and global multi-language education programs. Lend a hand to the cause by wrapping your mitts around a glass of pale pink Cuvée Or boasting hints of grapefruit, lychee and mango, or the light and fruity Cuvée Argent made with Grenache and Rolle grape varieties. Head online to buy a bottle or 12 of Le Rosé Bleu, or keep an eye on restaurant wine lists and independent bottle shop fridges near you.
