Taste Burleigh in a bottle with Twisted Palm beer

Hot summer days and ice-cold beer go together like peas and carrots – the satisfaction of sipping a frothie in the sun is truly second to none. The beer-brained legends at Burleigh Brewing Co have whipped up a fresh as heck new brew just in time for the warmer months – welcome Twisted Palm to the family.

Born as the brainchild of a Hawaiian brewmaster and a Gold Coast corporate law escapee, Burleigh Brewing Co is a brand that knows a thing or two about chill vibes. The concept of Twisted Palm was to create a beer that perfectly encapsulates the essence of a day on the beach at Burleigh Heads, and takes its name from the iconic Pandanus trees that line the point. Touted as a tropical pale ale, flavours of orange, mango and papaya combine to create a relaxed all-rounder brew that can do double duty from a summer barbecue to a foodie’s dining table.

Currently available at numerous Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast venues and bottle shops, Twisted Palm is making its way around the state post-debut. The first release was highly coveted, selling out within a week of hitting the shelves. Lucky South East Queenslanders can get their hands on a batch as of right now – to check for your nearest stockist, head to the Burleigh Brewing Co website.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Brisbane dining guide with more than 2400 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
