The iconic Italian fashion label Gucci is the new kid on the block at QueensPlaza, opening its doors at the luxury retail precinct mere weeks ago. It’s the 11th addition to QueensPlaza’s treasure chest of shopping gems and the second store Gucci has in the city, with its smaller Edward Street counterpart still slinging opulent goods to sophisticated urbanites.
Combining industrial with romantic, the 3313 square foot store’s interior matches the elegance that characterises Gucci’s collections. Housed inside a Arabascato Orbico marble facade, the store is brimming with herringbone wooded interiors, a black and white hand-painted parquet and dusty pink and dark grey matelassé velvet armchairs. If you can peel your eyes from the plush decor, you’ll also discover a wide selection of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, watches, jewellery, eyewear and fragrances.
Eager shoppers can find Gucci’s new QueensPlaza store at 226 Queen Street in Brisbane City.
