Viva (Bris) Vegas – get hitched at Brisbane’s first ever Vegas-inspired micro-wedding venue

We all know weddings are expensive, and in the current economy forking out tens of thousands of dollars on the big day is unlikely given life’s other priorities. If you're looking for the ultimate reason to not have to invite Tom, Dick and Harry to your wedding, then this exciting new wedding venue may just be your answer. Introducing Wham Bam Thankyou Sam – Brisbane’s first ever micro-wedding venue, offering modern-day romantics an intimate, stress-free and super-fun wedding day.

Nestled in the northern suburb of Windsor, the intimate 45-square foot space caters to 12 of your nearest and dearest. Wham Bam Thankyou Sam offers a fun, unique and easy way to say ‘I do’ launching with a Las Vegas theme that’s oozing rock and roll vibes and tasteful retro aesthetics. If a neon graveyard-inspired wedding doesn’t quite fit your aesthetic, don’t fret, as founders Amey Rosenthal and Kady Capewell are planning on transforming the venue every eight months to take on an entirely new theme. “Creativity is at the heart of who Kady and I are. We love bringing new, unconventional ideas to life – so why not update and change the space to reflect that? It caters to couples who want to do things differently, and have a wedding that is totally unique,” says Amey.

Wham Bam Thankyou Sam offers three all-inclusive packages that cater to all burning lovers looking to tie the knot. The Quickie will see couples legally married in 30 minutes, The Hour of Power is double the duration and includes a personalised photobooth, loaded bar cart and charcuterie selection, while the Whole Lotta Lovin’ is for couples who want the whole shebang. The Vegas-inspired space will be available until March 2024, so get in quick before Elvis metaphorically leaves the building, and a new theme takes over.

If you can’t help falling in love with this one-of-a-kind wedding venue, then head to the Wham Bam Thankyou Sam website for more information and package pricing.
