The Brisbane CBD will be welcoming a new bar and eatery to its midst when Mr Edward’s Alehouse & Kitchen opens on Edward Street. The venue will be open for lunch and dinner and will specialise in European-style dining with a focus on slow cooked meats and share plates. Mr Edward’s has partnered with Coopers Brewing and will host the entire Coopers collection as well as fine wine on tap, cocktails, spirits and coffee. A street front coffee machine will dispense The Establishment coffee, juices and fresh baked scones, muffins and Coopers beer-infused banana bread to passing foot traffic from 7:00 am. The coming weeks will see the space include a new roof for the outside dining area, a greenery wall will be installed along the façade and a charcuterie fridge will be added near the kitchen, stocking a moreish selection of cured meats and cheeses which will be available for snacking in the near future.
