In May 2024, the team behind beloved Wandoo Street cafe Piccolo by Her expanded. Piccolo by Him, a chic European-inspired coffee haunt can be found at the 1000 Ann precinct, sandwiched between Tartufo and Ovolo The Valley. Here, coffee from Campos is available alongside classic brunch dishes and an array of top-notch sandwiches. For breakfast, you’ll find French toast with berry compote and maple syrup, eggs Benedict with house-made hollandaise (and your choice of ham, bacon or mushroom), and Irish breakfast – a hearty spread boasting eggs, bacon, tomato, mushroom, baked beans, black pudding, pork sausage and sourdough. Piccolo by Him uses Campos’ Dark City as its main blend, which is available alongside rotating single origins and batch brews. In the future, the team will look to introduce a clutch of natural wines to the offering.
