Chermside welcomed its very own suburban bar to its midst when Sasquatch Bar opened in early January 2017. The cafe and bar is setting the standard for neighbourhood watering holes, opening from morning through to late, starting the day with Cleanskin Coffee Co.’s Saint Espresso on the brew and quick bites such as jaffles and baked goods. Come lunch you’ll be able to pick up a packed hero filled with the likes of fried chicken, grilled barramundi, roast mushroom with haloumi and truffle mayo, knackwurst, pork belly and lamb breast, and of an evening sip craft beer and tuck into sizeable dishes including share plates of chargrilled meats served with a selection of snacks and sides. Dessert options will include waffle cone sundaes, while eight beers rotate on tap in addition to 20 bottled beers and a range of spirits.
