Motor heads and coffee lovers alike are sure to get revved up from a visit to Smoked Garage. The custom motorcycle crew relocated from its original Bridge Street location to its new home on 126 Wickham Street in mid-2018, securing a new three-level space in which to grow. After piecing together the venue’s fit-out on the down low, the new premises quietly opened to the public. The cavernous space incorporates a basement workshop, a forthcoming events space, a schmick showroom and a fully functional cafe and coffee window. Smoked Garage’s cafe is serving grab-and-go bites such as muffins, cakes, doughnuts and sandwiches to start, but will be expanding very soon once a fully-equipped kitchen and bar is installed. The cafe is the first outlet in Brisbane to serve beans and coffee from Newtown roaster Brewtown.
