The Weekend Edition - Sleep In. Slow Down. Enjoy.

Jerome Dalton, Head chef and owner of Dalton Catering and architect of the Fire Dome

Most of the great discussions I've ever had have been around a fire. It's always been there and seems to be the great equaliser of humans.

In Short ...

If you have been in the vicinity of Brisbane Powerhouse over the last fortnight, it’s likely your senses tingled with the promise of something magical nearby. You may have sniffed the scent of sizzling skewers, witnessed a cloud of curious fog or heard the sounds of sultry songs drifting through the air. That veritable feast for the senses was coming from Night Feast, an immersive art and feasting experience that is bringing together a selection of our city’s top culinary minds and internationally renowned artists for a month-long sensory wonderland at Brisbane Powerhouse from March 1–26.

The Weekend Edition is thrilled to be an official partner of Night Feast and we’re bringing you an inside look at the creative minds participating in this culinary extravaganza with documentary-style video series, The Alchemists. Episode two presents flame lord himself Jerome Dalton, head chef of Dalton Catering and the architect of the notorious Fire Dome. Delve into the smoky mysteries of cooking with fire and catch Jerome (and his Fire Domes) all month long at Night Feast.
