Choosing a singular theme for a New Year’s Eve soiree can be awfully restrictive, so this year Treasury Brisbane has decided to go a little crazy – and by a little crazy, we mean that the entire ground floor of the palatial space will be dedicate to five Tinseltown-themed rooms. Partygoers can swan around between spaces dedicated to the roaring 20s, masquerade, Hollywood, Route 66 and shimmer and shine. Four-and-a-half hours of premium cocktails, wine, craft beers, grazing and dessert stations will be bolstered by DJ and trumpet duo Jonathan Ford and David Flynn – oh, and a live jazz band will really take the vibe all the way over the top.
If you want to take your New Year’s Eve celebrations to the next level (literally), be sure to snap up a ticket to Treasury’s rooftop soiree. Yes, you read that correctly – you get to party the night away on the roof of one of Brisbane’s most iconic buildings aided by a three-hour package of unrivalled luxury. Dom Pérignon Champagne, Hennessy cocktails, Cloudy Bay wines, an oyster bar, decadent savoury and dessert stations plus a live DJ make for a pretty darn impressive way to start the year, no? This super-intimate affair has strictly limited spots, so you don’t have to battle the crowds for a prime view or a spot at the bar.
