Nourishing Noosa outfit Blended Health Bar brings its bounty to Fortitude Valley

Sunshine Coast residents and those that call Hastings Street their main hang will be no stranger to the fare at Blended Health Bar. The cosy superfood pit stop has been dishing out colourful bowls, nutritious smoothies and good vibes for years, earning a first-rate rep for its wholesome fare in the process. Good news for Brisbane-based acai junkies – Blended Health Bar has come south, opening a vibrant eatery in Fortitude Valley complete with its popular menu and a few exciting additions.

When you’re onto something good, you can’t help but share the love. Noosa’s beloved Blended Health Bar has brought its brand of wholesome goods to Brisbane, with a fresh new joint that delivers its range of nourishing nosh. As real estate moguls will tell you, it’s all about location, location, location. Well, the Blended team as scored itself a primo spot on the corner of Ann Street and East Street, settling in next to neighbours Flippin’ the Bird and Happy Boy. Perfectly poised to catch the attention of commuters and foot traffic overflow from James Street, Blended Brisbane is set up to accommodate both leisurely lunch munchers and caffeine-starved commuters. A sunny room at the back features a lush greenery wall and an eye-catching mural from local street-art talent Sofles, but those keen on a bit of direct sunshine can park themselves out the front in the leafy surrounds of East Street.

A healthy food joint is only as good as the produce it uses, and Blended is fortunate enough to be utilising some of the freshest fruit and vegetables from the Sunshine Coast. The Noosa menu has been brought south, with the extra kitchen space allowing for some new items. Ten bowls are available to choose from, stuffed to the brim with everything from pineapple and coconut sorbet to pink pitaya and mango. If you’ve only got time to sip, grab a smoothie before you scoot, with classic and superfood-infused concoctions available alongside ice-cream shakes, Allpress Coffee, juices and acai-infused sodas. Beyond the bowls and beverages, Blended is also serving up nice-creams, stuffed bagels from The Bagel Boys, sandwiches, vegan wraps, raw treats and protein balls.
