Class is in session – educate yourself about coffee at Dramanti’s Morningside HQ

One of the most recognisable names in Brisbane coffee has taken its operations to new heights. Dramanti Artisan Roasters has settled in to some fresh digs in the heart of Morningside, combining its roasting and wholesale operations under one roof alongside a swish new coffee bar and a barista training centre. Now coffee lovers can indulge in their obsession on a whole new level.

Ever since starting Dramanti Artisan Roasters in Wynnum, owners Dragan and Marija have maintained that true appreciation of coffee comes from understanding. While most of us are content to sip our flat whites and let the caffeine work its magic, the team at Dramanti are all about providing a higher experience for those who seek it. After growing beyond the confines of its Cleveland premises, Dramanti moved its roasting, packaging and wholesale operations to a new space in Morningside, converting an empty warehouse space into a quirky and stylish headquarters where the brand could continue to grow while also providing a top-notch coffee experience and educational opportunities.

The first thing you’ll notice entering the Morningside hub is this hive of activity at the building’s rear, where state of the art Giesen machines from the Netherlands roast a range of beans sourced from Central American farms. Customers can park themselves at tables inside and upstairs in a new mezzanine level, but be sure to order your coffee before you get too comfortable. The coffee counter is the perfect spot for patrons to sample the Dramanti goodness right from the source. Those eager to ease their way into something familiar can opt for espresso-based drops from Dramanti’s rotating blends and single origins, while those that favour specialty brews can perch at the slow-coffee counter and sip on a range of light filter drops. The coming weeks will see Dramanti Artisan Roaster implement a full-on comprehensive barista training course, where budding coffee slingers can learn the ropes on machines and grinders in the fully equipped cupping studio upstairs. Cupping sessions will be held in the near future, giving caffeine lovers a chance to ask questions and learn more about where their coffee comes from and how it is prepared.

Dramanti Artisan Roasters at Morningside is open and ready for your patronage. For location details and opening hours, jump over to our Stumble Guide.
