Update your drinks cabinet with a bottle of Ink Gin

A new blend of gin has emerged from a northern rivers distillery, infused with organic botanicals and produced in small batches.

Ink Gin is the latest Australian-made spirit to hit the boutique liquor market and it has made a splash thanks to its vibrant colour, refined presentation and quality taste. Brewed and bottled in northern New South Wales, Ink Gin is brewed using Australian grain, pot distilled in small batches and bottled by hand. 15 botanicals are used in the brewing process, imbuing a variety of flavours to create the unique taste of the end product. Ingredients such as elderflower, cinnamon, pepperberry, cardamom and liquorice root are some of the botanicals incorporated in the gin.

The last element added to the concoction is the butterfly pea, an exotic flowering legume sourced from Thailand is used to imbue the deep blue colour of the gin that, when mixed with tonic water, shifts from blue to pink. Ink Gin contains zero preservatives or chemicals, and is perfect for mixing in cocktails to impress your friends. Should you wish to get your hands on a bottle of Ink Gin, you can purchase a bottle directly from the Ink Gin website or order a glass at Brisbane Brewing Co., Rumpus Room, John Mills Himself or Visions Gallery.
