Celebrate the flavours of spring at Milton Markets’ seasonal celebration

The weather wasted no time in warming up post-winter, but we’re not complaining too loudly – not when it means that spring produce is set to arrive! The Milton Markets will be hosting its third food-centric pop-up of 2017 when the Seasonal Flavours takes over Cribb Street on Sunday September 10 for its spring edition, complete with new food stalls, live entertainment and more.

There’s nothing quite like a visit to the local market when the weather is perfect, and if you live in Brisbane, spring is one of the most beautiful times of year. The Milton Markets is a popular destination for weekend wanderers thanks to its comprehensive selection of food vendors and family-friendly entertainment, and the upcoming Seasonal Flavours event is set to up the ante. Seasonal Flavours will be partnering with the Wesley LifeShape Clinic and chef Toni Ching to create healthy recipes you can make at home with produce found at the market itself.

Milton Markets will be welcoming a few newcomers to its foodie family, including Doughy Cookie Dough, Hive&Harvest, and Stovetop Chai. Brisbane institutions such as Bunker Coffee, Banneton Bakery, Tillari Trotters and Salt Meats Cheese will also be offering a host of spring-themed goodies, which will complement the established array of art and craft stalls, live entertainment, jumping castles and more. The spring edition of Seasonal Flavours will run from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm on Sunday September 10 – entry is free, so you’ve got no excuse for missing out.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Brisbane dining guide with more than 2400 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
