When we talk about Nautical Bowls, it helps to start with some stats. The USA-born acai slinger – hailed as one of the fastest-growing concepts of its kind – has sold more than 1,715,681 bowls worldwide, with a staggering 57 franchise locations scattered around the globe. It’s a go-to nourishment spot for gym junkies, healthy eaters and those with a sweet tooth, and now it’s here in Brisbane. Nautical Bowls quietly opened at West Village late last year, snagging a spot near the precinct’s Mollison Street entrance (just across from Goodlife Health Clubs) where it’s been dishing out bowls packed with organic and all-natural ingredients. With a mantra centred around fuelling up for everything the world throws at you, Nautical Bowls’ energising eats are perfectly designed to give you a boost while navigating life’s choppy waters.
The menu is loaded with plant-based, gluten-free, soy-free and dairy-free bowls, with a number of signature bowls available alongside build-your-own options. If you’re a first timer, opt for the signature Nauti Bowl (filled with acai, pitaya, granola, banana, cacao nibs and peanut butter) or the Paddle Bowl (packed with Blue Majik – a turquoise-coloured spirulina extract – mango, coconut, granola, strawberries, coconut flakes and lashings of Bee One Third’s Byron Bay honey). If you need to refuel after a heavy lifting session, the Protein Bowl (packed with acai, PB cacao chia, granola, peanut butter, bananas, PB protein crumbles and hemp seeds) will nourish those muscles.
Nautical Bowls is now open seven days a week – head to the Stumble Guide for operating hours and menu details.
