Nestled amongst the clubs and pubs of the entertainment district’s bustling Ann Street-stretch is an impeccably dressed haunt. The minds behind West End’s Cobbler are bringing their brand of consummately appointed hospitality to The Valley with Savile Row – a bar that offers a near unparalleled level of service aimed at tailoring the perfect night out. It’s a good thing too – there’s enough bottles on offer that the act of choosing will make your head spin, even before you’ve had a single drink!

The tailors of London’s Savile Row earned their sterling reputation for making the finest suits in the world for good reason – their dedication to attaining perfection in fit and style is unmatched. The idea of taking that level of service and customisation and applying it to hospitality is something that Martin Lange, Trent Goodwin and Kahn Millis have similarly strived to attain. Through their acclaimed West End bar Cobbler the trio has earned notoriety for taking things up a notch in terms of service, and their new bar Savile Row in The Valley is set to take the concept even further. Behind a bright-orange door at 667 Ann Street, Savile Row blends a timeless feel with impeccable hospitality. The space has been overhauled to bring the aesthetics in line with the building’s original character, boasting two spacious levels, comfortable furnishings, a seductive amount of mood lighting, eye-catching artwork (animals wearing suits reference the concepts tailored inspirations) and a seriously impressive chandelier illuminating the space from above the bar.

Similar to the acclaimed custom outfitters of old London town, the bar staff at Savile Row are the best at fashioning a drink suited to you. Tell the bartender your spirit or mood (skip giving your horoscope and the life story, though) and they’ll whip up something to match. If you are simply keen on a recommendation, watch in awe as they work their magic amongst a bar back filled to toppling point with spirits sourced from around the world. Savile Row currently stocks 450 whiskies (which will expand to 600 in the coming months), 52 gins, 50 rums and 50 tequilas – offering unmatched versatility when it comes to taste. A new cocktail menu will take drinkers on a journey, with a page per drink explaining the history and story behind each concoction paired with unique artwork. The cocktail list will also feature a rotating selection of special recipes incorporating seasonal ingredients and spirits new to the collection. As if that wasn’t enough, the bar also stocks 15 reds, 15 whites and ten champagnes as well as six beers on tap to boot.

Savile Row is open seven days a week from 5:00 pm until 3:00 am (yep, every night). For location and contact details, slip on over to our Stumble Guide.
