Back by popular demand, a series of Silk Road Degustation dinners hosted by much-loved Adelaide Street venue Botero House is taking guests on a delectable journey inspired by the Indian sub-continent. Celebrated chef Dan Brown is showcasing modern techniques honed at Michelin-starred and hatted restaurants, while honouring centuries-old traditions and the very best Australian produce, to create nine indulgent courses. Dishes will include the likes of pani puri, black rice puff with kangaroo tartare and mushroom ketchup, fried Tandoori cauliflower with burnt butter and milk, caviar and seaweed, and sticky date with cumin, butterscotch, Darjeeling, vanilla and bayleaf.
Three drink-pairing menus will also be available, including wine-only and alcohol-free options. Be treated to Indian-inspired cocktails such as the Paan Negroni, a pop of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Brut Champagne or a Kolkata G&T featuring distilled non-alcoholic spirit Seedlip. The pop-up dinners are being held once a fortnight, with the next dates set for October 24 and November 7. Find more information and book your seat online.
