Hijinx Hotel is the newest venture from the jolly team at Funlab, which has already opened one rainbow-soaked ‘hotel’ experience in Sydney. The enormous 3279-sqm venue will launch in Funlab’s new fantastical precinct under Cali Beach in Surfers Paradise, ensuring hours of endless fun under one roof. It’s jam-packed with ten immersive hotel-esque rooms where groups of two to six players can work together to complete challenges in a four-minute window, to score points on a leaderboard. You can expect rooms filled with giant pianos, basketball hoops, huge Scrabble-like games and a candy-coated ball pit.
Funlab’s new Surfers Paradise precinct will also house Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq and Holey Moley. The bonkers-big venue will have the capacity to hold 410 fun-loving guests, and will feature three bars, 72 arcade machines, six bowling lanes, ten immersive game rooms and 18 holes of golf. Oh, and there will even be dodgem cars too! Once you’ve had your fill of fun, make your way to the bar to enjoy the Instagram-worthy Bubble and Pop cocktail or fill up on some flavour-packed nosh. The lively locale is due to open on December 9 – just in time for some summer holiday fun!
C’mon, get a room! Tickets to Hijinx Hotel are just $25 for adults and pre-booking is now open from December 9 via the Hijinx Hotel website.
