You don’t have to drive an hour to your closest mountain range to get your climbing fix – unless you are dead set on scaling sheer rock faces, that is. If evoking your inner Stallone from Cliffhanger doesn’t appeal to you, perhaps a fun obstacle course is more your speed. Sky Climb is the newest activity zone to arrive in town, brought to life by the inventive minds behind the neighbouring Sky Zone trampoline park. Nestled in the heart of Macgregor, Sky Climb houses a host of alternative activities that will test thrill seekers and first timers equally.
Sky Climb houses 21 challenges in total across 13 walls of varying difficulty and theme, offering a comprehensive range of difficulty levels. Each wall or obstacle is equipped with an auto-belay braking system for solo climbers keen to ascend with the utmost level of safety. We don’t want to spoil your first encounter with the wild world of walls, but with obstacles called Beanstalk, Deep Space, Labyrinth and Volcano with Lava you just know that each challenge is going to be a lot of fun. If climbing isn’t enough to get your adrenaline pumping, Sky Climb is also home to the Sky Drop – a six-metre tall slide that gives patrons a genuine free-fall experience before gently coming back down to earth.
Sky Climb is opening to the public on Friday July 21. Click over to the Stumble Guide for booking information and contact details.
