Newstead is soon to gain a new addition to its craft-brewery collection, with Range Brewing taking shape on Byres Street. The brewery will focus on small-batch hoppy, dark and sour beers, with the beer selection, recipes and approaches constantly evolving. Range Brewing will be built on the ethos of reusing rather than recycling, generating as little waste as possible from the beer creation through to its apparel and accessories. The beers will be served alongside simple pizzas created by internal kitchen The Squid and The Ferret, made from slow-rising sourdough. Range Brewing is due to open in mid-Autumn 2018 – we’ll keep you posted.
