What’s Golden is indulging in a bit of venue-ception – it’s a space within a space. The boutique, custom-built band room sits within The Tivoli’s entry foyer, taking shape as a 250-person standing capacity performance venue. Designer Aaron Barton worked with ownership to overhaul the foyer, while set designer Sarah Winter has imbued the space with an identity that blends seamlessly with The Tivoli’s trademark old-world aesthetic. As well as a state-of-the-art stage with all of the audio and lighting trimmings, What’s Golden comes with a schmick new box office, cocktail menu and craft-beer bar.
