Champagne-soaked cabaret Blanc de Blanc Encore is returning to Brisbane for a delightfully decadent season

Prepare for popping bottles of bubbles, bendy bodies and a bounty of glitter – Blanc de Blanc Encore is returning to Brisbane! You can expect the same jaw-dropping showcase of jazz tunes, electrifying circus tricks, hilarious antics, gob-smacking acrobatics and risque humour, but this time, amped up to the max.

Go digging in your wardrobe and free your most sparkly outfit from the dark confines of hardly-ever-wear, as Blanc de Blanc Encore is shimmying its way back into our city as part of Brisbane Festival’s 2022 early event program. Following a limited season on the Gold Coast, The Spiegeltent will be setting up at its new Northshore home, Twilight Electric, from July 27. You can expect the usual suspects to turn up including aerialists, comedians, singers and dancers, all who have performed around the world to adoring crowds. This is one Gatsby-esque party that’s worth your presence.

Once you’ve got your champagne in hand, settle in for an evening full of high-flying aerial antics, feather-filled dance numbers and lots (we mean lots) of skin. It’s safe to say, it’s probably best to leave the little ones at home as the show is restricted to mature audiences. You’re also encouraged to dress for the occasion, donning your very best vintage white and sparkly attire so you can truly feel part of the show. Performances will run Wednesday to Sunday, making date night oh so easy – and a whole lot more glamourous. Make sure you arrive at least 30 minutes early to indulge in a glass of bubbly before being treated to two hours worth of seductive, glitter-coated performances.

Blanc de Blanc Encore will be returning for a strictly limited season from July 27 to September 18, and tickets are extremely limited. Secure your seat at this hedonistic hub by visiting the Twilight Electric website. Psst … anyone purchasing a ticket before the end of June will be sent a voucher for a free glass of sparkling to enjoy at the show!
