Don your most festive attire and ready your singing voice – West Village’s Carols in The Common is returning to Boundary Street with a bounty of Christmas spirit on Tuesday December 8 and Thursday December 10. Popular conductor Dane Lam will compère and direct the talented stars of Opera Queensland, joined by stellar Brisbane pianist Alex Raineri and Australian tenor Bradley Dale, as they perform a merry mix of Christmas classics with West End’s iconic Peter’s Ice Cream factory as their backdrop. The program includes a rousing sing-along medley, so make sure you bring your best singing voice to join in the merriment.
This starry carolling session wouldn’t be complete without some sunset sips and snacks to go with it. A general admission ticket to Carols in The Common is just $15 and includes a glass of bubbles on arrival, or hungry folk can nab a deluxe ticket for $25, which includes a glass of bubbles and an individual cheese box to tuck in to. Tickets are extremely limited for the Thursday December 10 Christmas concert (the Tuesday event is already sold out!). Secure your spot to this festive fiesta of song here.
