The debacle of missing a once-in-a-lifetime gig in order to spend some well-earned time on the couch has now been solved. How, you ask? Well, strangely enough – it’s all thanks to virtual reality. GiG VR captures all the antics of the night’s gig with 360-degree technology, which is then live streamed to punters at home. This gives folks who missed out on tickets a chance to enjoy the show, or punters the opportunity to re-live the gig from every angle through the impressive GiG VR platform.

With a mission to showcase local talent, GiG VR’s first Brisbane event on Friday January 24 will be headlined by Gold Coast band Bleeding Knees Club and supported by The Jensens, Whalehouse and Perve Endings.
