It doesn’t matter if you’re a fan of a crispy pepperoni or Hawaiian, every pizza lover can agree that it’s one of the most versatile and reliable meals around. Welcome to Bowen Hills has introduced a new permanent addition to its vendor list, welcoming Harry’s Pizza to the mix today Friday October 12. Eschewing overly exotic toppings in favour of all-time classic choices, Harry’s Pizza’s menu reads like an old-school American pizzeria’s greatest hits – making us giddy with equal parts hunger and nostalgia.
Favourites such as margherita and four-cheese pizzas are joined by the likes of chargrilled eggplant and artichoke, smoked ham and pineapple, pork and fennel sausage, and Italian salami and chilli pizzas. You can boost your choice with some extra toppings and gluten-free bases are available as well. No pizza party is complete without garlic bread, and Harry’s signature Mum’s 1980s garlic bread is generously lathered in fresh butter, garlic and Italian herbs – just how it should be. The carb action doesn’t stop there – loaded fries are topped with salami, sugo, mozzarella and basil adding an extra dash of cheese-pull goodness.
Harry’s Pizza will be adding takeaway service soon, but for now the spot is offering $5 pizzas with any drink purchase on Friday and between 4:00–6:00 pm Wednesday through Sunday. That’s a happy hour we can get on board with. Check out the Stumble Guide for opening hours.
